One of the aims of the SIG is the organisation of scientific events such as special sessions and satellite workshops at larger conferences like Interspeech and ICPhS (International Congress of Phonetic Sciences). The workshop series is called HSCR that stands for "History of Speech Communication Research". The workshop proceedings can be found in the ISCA archive.
The next meeting will be the 6th HSCR workshop to be held in Budapest from 20th to 21st September 2024.
